Did you know that the rules for each council can vary. Each local government area has different planning schemes which contain different provisions controlling development in the region. To add to the confusion, the current local government areas can have multiple planning schemes as a hangover from the previous, smaller Councils. Draft planning schemes may also exist in an area at any given time. Fortunately, DP&A are experienced with many of the current and draft schemes in the area.
